Meet Our Veterinary Surgeons
Martin Watson Practice Principal

Martin qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1986 and, after a year as house surgeon, specialising in small animal and equine surgery, entered a busy mixed practice in the central lowlands of Scotland. After three years he emigrated south to Windsor to join Forest House and is now the Practice Principal. Martin enjoys all aspects of veterinary work with a special interest in orthopaedics and cattle medicine. He is involved at Windsor Races and Windsor Horse Show. Martin is married to Lindsay with two daughters, Abigail and Rebecca. His dog Bruce is a well known member of the Forest House team!
Kit Haworth Veterinary Surgeon

Kit qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002 and spent 3 years in mixed practice before packing her bags for distant shores. She spent several months working in charity clinics and on rabies control programs in India and Nepal before going on to general practice in Australia and New Zealand. Kit returned to the UK in 2007 and joined Forest House in August 2008. Although Kit still enjoys mixed practice work and soft tissue surgery, her primary interest these days is in internal medicine and critical care; she has recently gained a further qualification in this area. In her spare time, Kit enjoys triathlon, climbing, travelling and photography.
Anna Watters Veterinary Surgeon

Anna graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2005 and swiftly moved to a busy mixed practice in Hertfordshire where she stayed for 3 years. Deciding to move to a warmer climate she then spent time travelling from Africa to Australia. In 2009 Anna returned to the UK and after doing some locum work she joined Forest House. She enjoys all aspects if veterinary work but as a special interest in small animal medicine. Anna has now added a chocolate Labrador cross Springer to the Forest House family. In her spare time Anna enjoys walking, squash, netball, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
Laura Harman Veterinary Surgeon

Laura qualified from Bristol Veterinary School in 2009. After graduating, she worked in a busy mixed practice in Kent for almost 2 years, before joining Forest House in May 2011. She is particularly interested in small animal soft tissue surgery and treatment of small furry exotics, such as ferrets and rabbits. In her spare time Laura enjoys singing in blues/soul bands, socialising and keeping her 2 pet ferrets amused!
Richard Beer Veterinary Surgeon

Richard graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005 and worked in a busy small animal hospital for three years after qualifying. Richard joined the Forest House team in November 2011 after spending 18 months travelling and working overseas. He has a keen interest in all aspects of small animal practice and enjoys being able to offer clients a complete service and is proud to be part of the 24 hour care we provide. In his spare time he enjoys travel and tries to play as much sport as his body will allow!
